Beltane marks the height of spring and the turning toward summer — a sacred fire festival of fertility, pleasure, and vibrant life. On this night, bonfires blaze, blossoms unfurl, and bodies dance in honour of the divine union of earth and sky. This bar is a tribute to that moment — and to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and passion, who teaches us to embrace beauty, sensuality, and connection.

Each bar holds a symbolic landscape: the black sky (activated charcoal) holds a blushing pink moon (red French clay), rising above the soft white base (kaolin clay). Scented with a rich, warming blend of bergamot, sandalwood, ylang ylang, orange, rosemary, black pepper, and ginger, it evokes sacred heat, floral tenderness, and fearless joy. Sprinkled with rose and lavender petals, this is more than a soap — it is a spell.

Ritual Use Instructions

1. Prepare the Sacred Flame
   Bathe in the evening or at twilight. Light a candle to represent the Beltane fire, and place a rose or flower near your space to honour Aphrodite. Allow yourself to feel radiant and open.

2. Awaken the Body
   Wet the Flame and Bloom bar and hold it in both hands. Gaze at the pink moon rising in a black sky. Breathe in the heady scent — floral, spicy, warm. Let the fire begin within you.

3. Lather with Intention
   Massage the soap onto your body or hands, slowly and reverently. Feel the heat of ginger and black pepper, the sweetness of orange and ylang ylang, and the grounding of sandalwood. Let the sensual lather awaken pleasure, courage, and softness.

4. Invocation to Aphrodite
   Speak or whisper:
   “Aphrodite of the blooming shore,
   Grant me love, and something more.
   Beauty, fire, joy, and grace —

5. Release with Love
   Rinse off slowly, letting the water carry away fear, shame, and stagnation. Feel your skin alive, your senses lit. You are radiant.

6. Seal the Spell
   After drying, anoint your wrists or heart with a sensual oil or perfume. Kiss a mirror, write a love note to yourself, or whisper your desires aloud. Let the petals on your soap altar be a promise to your blooming self.
